It was here, among the stone villages and rustling olive groves, that Saint Francis of Assisi found his deepest connection to the world.

The path from Rieti to Assisi is a special one, steeped in the story of a man who loved the land and its creatures.
We will trace his path, not as tourists, but as pilgrims. We’ll visit the sanctuaries he built, see the manger scene he created in Greccio, and walk the forested slopes of Monte Subasio. With every step, we move not just across the hills of Umbria, but closer to the heart of a story that has shaped centuries.
